A Walk on the Beach | Oil Painting

16x20 oil painting on stretched canvas. Framed

Artist: Painter Lyn

This is a typical scene from my early morning walks along the beaches of Brevard County, Florida

Just 35 miles east of Orlando, Brevard County prides itself as the home of Kennedy Space Center, the only facility in the world that launches the Space Shuttle; Port Canaveral, the second-busiest cruise port in the world; 72 miles of beautiful Atlantic Ocean beaches; and the largest collection of endangered wildlife and plants in the continental United States. With its tropical weather, cultural activities, educational opportunities, active and passive recreation options, high-technology industries, and family-friendly atmosphere, the Space Coast offers an exceptional quality of life that residents and visitors enjoy year-round. Nearly 500,000 people call its 16 municipalities and unincorporated areas "home."

I have been painting for many years now. I guess you could say that I am a well seasoned Artist. It seems that in Art we usually don't make any money. I mean we paint and we create masterpieces and no one ever seems to purchase our work even if the prices are low.

Art Pages has many paintings for sale. We even have a few tips on oil painting. Actually I wish I could give you all the information you are really looking for but I don't use oil paints. I am a big Acrylic and Watercolor person. It is my mother, Painter Lyn, that you should actually be interested in for Oil Paintings, Airbrush, Watercolor, Graphics. ETC. I have created a web page for her at http://www.time2use.com/

There you can look over some of the great art works that she has done and pick and choose your favorites. Actually If you really wanted to you could purchase one of the oil paintings or the watercolors that are for sale.

I know that Art isn't cheap and I know that you always get what you pay for. I think that is why the Mona Lisa is a few million dollars to buy.

Not saying that this Art is ever going to be worth that much, but when someone devotes their entire life to creating masterpieces of many differnent mediums, I'm sure that does and will continue to count for something.

Also if you would please visit my myspace page at http://www.myspace.com/artpages There you can add yourself to the friends list so that we know that even though you may not have purchased any art from us you are showing your support.

Basicly on this Blog what I am hopping for is to get people to Post their oppinion about my Site: Art for Sale. Posting your Comments would mean so much to me so that I might, get the Word out about this Wonderful Artist.
