I have been painting for many years now. I guess you could say that I am a well seasoned Artist. It seems that in Art we usually don't make any money. I mean we paint and we create masterpieces and no one ever seems to purchase our work even if the prices are low.
Art Pages has many paintings for sale. We even have a few tips on oil painting. Actually I wish I could give you all the information you are really looking for but I don't use oil paints. I am a big Acrylic and Watercolor person. It is my mother, Painter Lyn, that you should actually be interested in for Oil Paintings, Airbrush, Watercolor, Graphics. ETC. There you can look over some of the great art works that she has done and pick and choose your favorites. Actually If you really wanted to you could purchase one of the oil paintings or the watercolors that are for sale.
I know that Art isn't cheap and I know that you always get what you pay for. I think that is why the Mona Lisa is a few million dollars to buy.
Not saying that this Art is ever going to be worth that much, but when someone devotes their entire life to creating masterpieces of many differnent mediums, I'm sure that does and will continue to count for something.
